2010 What is New...

Well we are officially having another boy! As you can tell... the David's are thrilled about the whole idea. Little David even wants to name him ... drum roll please... "David Jr. Jr." he hasn't figured everything out yet, but he likes his name and his daddy's name and wants to be the baby's "boss" so he figured that's a good place to start. I on the other hand would prefer a traditional family name. But I'm settling for anything that's not Korihor or Laman and Lemuel as David Sr. insists on telling my family he wants our child named one of the previous.



Latest accomplishments: Thanks to my awesome Christmas present, my new sewing machine, I have finished sewing my first project in 10 years. It is a car seat cover blanket for the new baby boy, thanks to Melissa Burnett's patience and help. Yea!



David Jr. is starting to learn to read simple words like hat, bat etc. and he's resolved to wearing normal clothes again (ie. he no longer insists on basketball jerseys and shorts in the freezing cold).



I have a week off of work yea and after watching Julie and Julia have been inspired to start keeping up with my blog. So here's to a better blog in 2010.

Vacations bring out the sweetness in life

San Francisco and the Mexican Riviera were so wonderful that we refuse to come back to reality and face the facts of working and going back to school!

January 2009

We have had an amazing 2 weeks of vacation and are enjoying the new year!
We even renewed our disneyland passes and our considering making an attempt to collect an advertising fee for all of the publicity and photography we generate to support Walt Disney.
We are looking forward to February and are finally getting used to Los Angeles.

"Mommy, let's go to disneyland to see Keira right now!"
And when asked who David Jr. wanted to Marry when he grows up, he responded "Taylor! Yah, Taylor!" as in cute little Taylor Burnett!

Too much Disneyland? Is that even possible...

David Jr. enjoyed the most exciting week of his 2 year old life by spending it with his family and friends at Disneyland. He went on Wednesday with Loving Grandma and Grandpa Taylor and all of his Abbott and Savage relatives and then Thursday and Friday with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Katie and his beloved Noni Bear.



He DID NOT want to leave... he ate suckers, wore mickey ears and enjoyed riding Dumbo.

His little friends Matthew Lake and Keira Olson found him at Disneyland and made the day all the more exciting!

Visiting New York

Wow, I never thought I would say this but I would love to live here in New York.

I am not sure if the sights are more amazing then I imagined or if David Senior is just so pleasant to be around while visiting the sights because we are "baby-free". Either way we are enjoying every minute of it.
